My bathtub pipe has clogged. is there something just to pore in so it gets self-clensed?

Yeah, get a wire hanger. You need to remove the hair ball in the drain. My bathtub pipe has clogged. is there something just to pore in so it gets self-clensed?
DO NOT put drano or liquid plumber in your tub! You can pour some baking soda down the drain if there isn't any water. If there is water then take something and cover the water overflow (where you pull the lever to make the bathtub hold water)and try plunging with a plunger until the water goes down. When there is no water in the tub add the baking soda and pour white vinegar down the drain. Let it bubble and rinse with some HOT water. Do the coat hanger thing also.My bathtub pipe has clogged. is there something just to pore in so it gets self-clensed?
Pull out the drain stopper. Use a wire hanger and pull as much gunk out of the pipe that you can. Toss out the gunk into the trash. Put the stopper back in. Run the tap water at full heat and fill the bath tub to full. Pull out the stopper completely (wear a rubber glove and work quickly, hot water can burn skin). The heat will loosen and burn off additional gunk/bacteria build up in the pipe and will suction as much as possible out to the main drain. Turn off the tap water. replace the drain stopper again.

You're done.

If that doesn't work, then call a plumber.
I wouldn't pour ANYTHING in my pipes! Those chemicals are corrosive and can destroy your plumbing. My shower backed up recently and I first used a plunger and tried that. It relieved it a little bit. Then I took a long wire hanger and went fishing down there. It was nasty. I pulled up a ball of hair as big as a mouse! Shower drains great now. (If you're trying to avoid doing the dirty work, just wear rubber gloves and have some papertowels or newspapers ready to clean up the mess. It's not THAT bad. It's your hair, right?) ha ha good luck.
once it is clogged you will have to remove the clog, nothing that you pour in it will work well. you should try a drain snake... it looks like this http://a248.e.akamai.net/f/248/38435/6h/鈥?/a>

it is a thick wire that goes down your drain and will pull up whatever is clogging it. the same thing happened to me so we bought a drain snake and ended up getting a huge clump of hair from the darin.
Liquid Plumber ! Follow the directions . In bathtubs, it is usually just hair. You can try to use a sharp pointed steak knife, and get the hair out ! Try that first !
The wire works best, as a second choice suck it out with a shop vac. Put a nylon sock over the drain in the future to keep it from happening again.
