Is there a Bone Marrow donor center in Msia, S'pore?

My friend is tested to suffer from leukemia. Just want to know is there a donor center where we can find suitable match. And just for knowlegde, what is the impact to donor if really match or just as normal, maybe pain in couple a days. that's allIs there a Bone Marrow donor center in Msia, S'pore?

It didnt seem to give as great detail as the US Marrow donors registry site does.


http://www.marrow.org is the US site and I think it gives more detail.





There are two ways to have it done, one you will be awake relativily pain free in out patient and it will be a week or two of inconvience.


The other way will be an out patient surgical proceedure, and will involve maybe 3-4 weeks of inconvience.


There is some minor pain, during your inconvienced time, but no big deal.
