go to a bank and ask, different banks have different procedures %26amp; forms,,, the procedure %26amp; forms are there. Charges corresponds with the amount of $ yr friend sends u %26amp; the currency exchange rate for that day. %26amp; the money goes straight to yr bank a/c in Singapore. Give yr friend yr a/c number %26amp; which bank.
EDIT:- ask your friend to approach a bank where she has an account...it'll makes things easier,,,%26amp; bring her a/c book along..or cash..
